YFSC Partnership-In-Action Mission Statement

The main objective of The Youth, Family, School and Community (YFSC) Partnership in action (YFSC-PIA) is bringing together the different sectors to assist and rebuild the infrastructure for youth, family, school and community empowerment.

It is making our stakeholders aware of their development in meeting the challenges towards increasing their assets and life skills, hence reducing their risks. This is an urgent concern focusing on the framework of community-based development.

Specific Objective: The YFSC Partnership is expected to provide support and opportunities that will:

1. Foster healthy standards for behavior

2. Increase healthy bonding with adults, peers and younger children.

3. Strengthen academic and non-academic preparations through scholarships, grants and trainings (networking)

4. Foster self determination.

5. Expand recognition for our stakeholders who engage in positive behavior.

6. To bridge the gap between the cultural life in the United States and life in other countries
